The AACC Secretariat welcomes you to Kigali, Rwanda to attend the 11th General Assembly under the theme “Respecting The Dignity and God’s Image in Every Human Being” (Genesis 1:26-27) - Dates:
Arrivals: Sunday, 1st July 2018
Departures: Saturday, 7th July 2018 - Accommodation:
Satisfactory Hotel arrangements have been made to accommodate all delegates. - Meeting Venue:
The General Assembly will take place at the KIGALI CONVENTION CENTER. Transport will be provided to and from the hotels and Assembly venue. - Airport:
All arrivals and departures will be at the Kigali International Airport. Once you arrive at the airport and you are through with the immigration procedures and have collected your luggage, you will be received by an AACC team who will bring you to your hotel. - Visa:
All nationals from African Countries that require visa to enter Rwanda will get Visa upon arrival at Kigali International Airport without prior request. The cost of visa fees for African Nationals is USD 30. Please refer to the following Website: www.migration.gov.rw. Please note visa fees are not refundable. - Required Inoculation:
Yellow Fever: - A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. Please make sure you carry your vaccination certificate and that it is up to date. - Weather and Temperature:
The weather in Kigali in June/July is max 27 degree Celsius and 15 degree Celsius minimum - Food:
Breakfast and dinner will be taken in your respective accommodation venue. Lunch will be provided at the Assembly Venue with one soft drink only. - Money/Exchange Rate:
For all local transactions, the currency used is the Rwandan franc. The exchange rate is around $1: 860 RWF (the rate varies). - Books For Sale:
There will be books on sale. We encourage you to plan to get a copy of these useful publications. - Other Travel Tips:
a. Plugs and Internet Access
Electricity in Kigali is 220/240 volts AC. Plugs are one of the two European standard electrical socket types with two (2) pins. Carry a compatible adapter for your device.
b. Making Calls in Kigali
You can use your mobile phone to make calls by purchasing a SIM Card and airtime. Networks available are, MTN and Airtel - Registration will be organized at respective hotels
